What I try and tell potential customers that I come across is this; you don't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to upgrade your pool lights. If you go into a local pool store or talk to your local installer, most don't realize that inexpensive solutions are available. What I sell the most of are very affordable bulb upgrades for existing systems. Just like you install a new bulb when your old ones burn out, so you can do with a new LED color bulb. Look at our large pool and small spa size swap in upgrade bulbs.
Pentair has a line of underwater pool and spa lights that they sell under the brand name Intellibrite 5g. Both of these lights have inside of them a part that they refer to as a color LED light engine. This part consists of both computer chips and led chips that control the LED's and the color and shows that are projected out of the lights underwater. Over time these boards will eventually fail. When this occurs, consumers have two basic choices: 1 - Replace the board with a new one or 2 - Replace the entire light fixture.
